This unit is the battery operated version of that similar BLACK+DECKER model. Featuring 3 tools in one, it can be easily converted from mower to string trimmer to an edger.
Cutting path is a rather shy 12-inches, meaning the ideal property size for this little fella should not be much bigger than 750 sq ft, otherwise the mowing will be utterly painful and ineffective.
The cordless mower version also uses the AFS automatic feed system that ensures continuous work without the need to adjust the trimmer cord.
Battery
The MTC220 comes with two lithium ion batteries and a charger for that extended run time. The batteries are part of Black and Decker’s interchangeable 20V MAX system, so it can be used in other power tools and lawn and garden care cordless units within the same brand and system.
